The Western College of Homeopathic Medicine offers a four-year program of study that includes an extensive Medical Sciences curriculum and Clinical Practicum in the form of Student Clinic throughout all four years. Students graduate with a Diploma in Classical Homeopathy (DCH). Students will require four years to complete the course, although applicants with advanced standing or prior medical experience may qualify for certain exemptions. All applicants are required to take the Acute Care and First Aid Class. Applicants without post-secondary sciences in Chemistry, Biology and Physics will be also required to take the Natural Science for the Homeopath Class. Both of these classes can be taken during the September 2011 through June 2012 period in preparation for beginning the programme in September 2012. Once applicants have completed the Acute Care and First Aid Class they may enroll in Student Clinic. All cases seen at Xerion Homoeopathie in Student Clinic are credited to the requirements of the four-year programme and requirements for the Council for Homeopathic Certification. WCHM also offers a variety of exciting courses and seminars for the general public and for health practitioners seeking to increase their skill sets. For more information see our Courses page here.
