"I have always been interested in alternative medicine, starting with mega-vitamin therapy and vegetarianism in my teens and followed by two home-births in the '80s. This interest, combined with our family business venture into a health food store (fueled by my now grown daughter's lively entrepreneurial spirit), informed my decision to attend Vancouver Homeopathy Academy in 2003. During my studies in Vancouver I also apprenticed with Julie Lee in veterinary homeopathy. Upon graduation in May 2007, I joined Xerion Homoeopathie (www.xerion.ca), a bustling clinic in northwest Calgary also started by my daughter. I completed the requirements for the Council for Homeopathic Certification in October 2007(#462) and subsequently became a professional member of the Canadian Society of Homeopaths and the North American Society of Homeopaths. I have published articles in the October 2007 BC Society of Homeopaths Bulletin and in the November 2009 Journal of the North American Society of Homeopaths.

I have a full-time practice out of Xerion Homoeopathie. Our clinic allows the public to walk-in for acute consultations and offers introductory classes and seminars. Our vaccine awareness seminars given my me and by my colleague Dr. Randall Pow (MD, HD) have been highly successful, with requests for us to deliver them in other southern Alberta locations.

In October 2008 I became a faculty member of the American Medical College of Homeopathy and taught their First Aid and Acute Care six-month course to a class of 22 in Calgary (please see www.amcofh.org). This class was repeated in 2009/10.

A vigorous interest in further education in homeopathy in Calgary has inspired the founding of the Western College of Homeopathic Medicine of which I am Director. We have operated a successful Student Clinic since June of 2009 for students eager to advance their studies. Our four-year diploma program began in September 2010 with a rigorous medical science component, a strong base in Classical Homeopathy, and broad experience through the practical setting of Student Clinic. I practice and teach the Sensation Method in the context of the principles and tools of Classical Homeopathy. My ongoing studies in North America and India continue to expand this aspect of my practice and teaching."
